ArcheNEO - energy-autonomous office park as a demonstration project in Kitzbühel Oberndorf
An integrated ecological concept with sustainable energies in combination with electric mobility and batteries for storaging electricity in case of need. An office park, which produces more energy than it needs. There are no CO2 emissions at all and no energy cost for the whole life span either. The knowledge will be exported to the rest of Europe and North-America.
Architectural Concept for Musicians
Starting from the special needs of a specific user group, an Architectural Concept for Musicians will be proposed and realized, with Housing as principal functional usage.
Artificial Intelligence for Improvement of Safety of Tunnels and Tunnel Control Centers (KITT)
Utilization of data of existing and future information and communication technologies for the safety-related monitoring and operation of tunnels by means of AI,Program KIRAS
Assessment of user requirements and technical feasibility of lightweight applications based on renewables
Assessment of user requirements was studied. Furthermore, the technical feasibility of se-lected lightweight applications based on renewables in the furniture and interior design sector is investigated through involvement of all relevant stakeholders (panel manufacturers - further processing enterprises - distributors - consumers) in the value chain.
AttentiveMachines – Man and Machines in ICT based Production Systems of the Future
Sensitive Machines cooperate with Plant Personnel. Attention-aware Machines adapt to the human’s performance and constitute the production systems of the future.
Austrian Data Cube
Austrian Data Cube: An EODC service for the Austrian EO user community
Austrian UcM - Austrian UAS for Civil Missions
In the AustrianUCM exploratory project, the potential of Austrian aviation suppliers, research and development organisations in the international market environment of unmanned aerial vehicles will be analysed, resulting in an Austrian UAS (unmanned aerial systems) research agenda . The focus was on unmanned aircraft for predominantly civilian applications with a maximum take-off weight of less than 150 kg, and underlying national law.
AustroSIF
Early stress detection in Austrian ecosystems with sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence
Autology - the automated ontology generator
Ontologies form the basis for the acquisition, analysis/processing, utilization, documentation, and archiving of building and component data throughout all stages of the lifecycle. Currently, the semantic description and structuring of data can only be achieved with significant manual effort. At this point, the Autology project utilizes Artificial Intelligence. The overarching project objective is the automated extraction and generation of metadata for the creation of ontologies from the building automation system, employing innovative AI-based approaches.
Autonomous energy systems based on hydrogen for critical infrastructure
The Austrian Federal Forests, HydroSolid, and GoWell are jointly developing a CO₂-free hydrogen backup power system for remote locations. The goal is to combine climate protection, energy security, and sustainable supply for critical infrastructure.
Aviation Icing Tests IV - Cloud Generation for Realistic Icing Tests on Aircraft Components, With and Without De-Icing or Anti-Icing Facilities
this research project will examine consequent research topics with a focus on increasing the LWC (Liquid Water Content) for Appendix C as well as the distribution and reduction of the LWC for Supercooled Large Drops (SLD). It is building on research projects Aviation Icing Tests, Aviation Icing Tests II and Aviation Icing Tests III that have already been carried out.
B.PREPARED - emergency planning and decision-support in case of accidents involving hazardous substances
Accidents involving hazardous substances impose threats on the health of the population and can have negative effects on the en-vironment. Dealing with such events means big challenges for au-thorities and emergency services. Through enhanced emergency planning and decision-support processes together with optimum tool support B.PREPARED will considerably advance situation as-sessment and operational planning.
BALANCE - Sustainable Management and Information System for National Park Visitors and National Park Operators
The BALANCE project follows a two-tier strategy: on the one hand an easy-to-use GPS/GALILEO suitable mobile guide is being developed, which offers location and time based information to the visitors of national parks or biosphere parks while at the same time tracking their routes. On the other hand, this tracking information is anonymously transferred to the analysis and prediction tool developed in BALANCE, which delivers easy to use information for the national parks about their visitors’ behaviour (e.g. favourite routes, stops, etc.).
BASE of ACE - Austrian Crime Explorer
Analysis, Identification and Quantification of Causes of Regional Differences in Crime
BATTBOX - BATTeryrecycling Best Operations by X-processes for circular battery ecosystem
In the BATTBOX project, e-mobility traction batteries are analysed for their cycle capability. The design and structure of battery systems are examined and evaluated regarding potential hazards. Based on this, the best possible handling and processing procedures are developed to improve and optimize the product life cycle regarding safety and recyclability.
BATTMON - Increasing the usable charging capacity, service life and safety of battery storage systems in urban areas
The aim of BATTMON is to develop an improved method of determining the condition of battery storage systems for applications in buildings and neighborhoods. To this end, area-based foil sensors are being developed for the spatially resolved measurement of temperature and pressure. This data will be used to estimate the state of charge and also the state of health more accurately and to detect cell damage at an early stage in order to reduce the risk of fire and explosion.

BI:JU Biography Work in Open Youth Work as a Resilience-Strenghtening Measure for Radicalisation Prevention
In this project, approaches of biography work for the prevention of radicalisation in open youth work will be developed and evaluated.
BIGMODERN - Subproject 10: Evaluation, Documentation and Ensuring Transferability
The subproject 10 is part of the flagship project BIGMODERN. It is based on the results of subproject SP 7 in which a monitoring concept has been developed. This concept is now implemented through monitoring of different aspects occurring during the first two years of operation of both BIGMODERN demonstration buildings.
