IMOPOL+
iMobility and Police: Technologies, Concepts and Solutions for security related deployment scenarios
IMP – Intelligent Maintance Planner & Inspection Knowledge Based Maintenance Managment Systems
Intelligent Maintenance saves Costs. Efficient planning and running of industrial maintenance saves costs and conserves resources. The required information normally already exists. It just needs to be used.
IMPACT - Phase 0+A
Integrated Mission Platform for Austrian CubeSat Technology - Phase 0+A
IMPACT – Hybrid hydraulic and electric charging of stratified compact hot water
The IMPACT project is developing an innovative decentralised hot water storage technology for large-volume urban housing. Thanks to a novel, flat design, the system enables highly efficient utilisation of renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and photovoltaics. The aim is to create a cost-efficient, sustainable solution for decarbonising water heating that is optimised using intelligent energy management and machine learning methods.
IMUVar - GRAVIS - Terrestrial Moving-Base Gravimetry Using a GNSS/SINS Platform
The GNSS/SINS combination may be adapted for terrestrial use where the platform will be mounted on a car. The gravity measurement by a moving car is a possible alternative to airborne and terrestrial gravimetry. This method can especially be applied for the densification of gravity measurements in complicated regions with sparse gravity distribution. Within the project GRAVIS a demonstrator for determining the Earths gravity field by using a car will be built.
IMUVar - VarIoNav - Analysis of Various Integration Methods of GNSS and Inertial Measurement Systems with Respect to Different Scenarios of Georeferencing
The main objective of the project VarIoNav is a scientifically based and comprehensive investigation of the integration of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and inertial measurement systems (IMS).
INDALMIM - Aluminium: Injection molding for industry
Aluminium components can now be industrially manufactured by means of metal injection molding. The new technology requires less material and energy.
INDALOS AKUT - A Universal System for Monitoring, Detection, Characterization, and Localization of GNSS Cyber Attacks
The INDALOS system utilizes innovative technologies, including AI-based analysis and real-time communication, to detect and localize GNSS disruptions. Its goal is to protect critical infrastructure through comprehensive monitoring of existing GNSS networks in Austria.
INDIUM - Storage Tests of Indium Ion Emitters
This project aims at investigating whether the purging storage method is at least comparable to the previous spring cap method.
INFINITE: INnovative FINancing models for sustaInable urban energy sysTEms
The goal of the INFINITE-project is to lay the foundations for a more wide-spread implementation of urban energy supply systems across buildings, using renewable energy sources produced in local supply units. At the same time the projects supports to reduce the demand for fossil fuels and higher-level energy infrastructure.
INFRASPEC - Automatic inspection of critical infrastructure
The KIRAS project INFRASPEC investigates novel methods for the robot-assisted detection of hazards caused by changes or by leaks of hazardous substances in supply shafts of critical infrastructure as well as for the technological support of remote-controlled detailed inspections in case of alarm. The aim is to increase the safety and availability of critical infrastructure and to strengthen the leading role in automated safety inspection.
INN'FIT4UM - Innsbruck "Fit4UrbanMission" - climate neutral Innsbruck 2030
Cities are the place where decarbonization strategies for energy, transport and buildings intersect. A few years ago, the municipality of Innsbruck set up a Smart City Group consisting of staff from the municipality, IIG, IKB and IVB to address this challenge. The goal of INN'F4UM is to develop a step-by-step plan to achieve climate neutrality for the city by 2030, building on an up-to-date representation of energy and resource flows together with the University of Innsbruck.
INNANET - Practice-oriented concept for implementation of industrial sustainability-networks
On the basis of conventional and recycling-oriented supply-chains and/or -networks a concept for the implementation of industrial sustainability networks will be developed. Together with a taskforce which needs to be founded a pilot implementation will be prepared.
INNERGY - Real laboratory in the central Inn-valley for climate-neutral semi-urban areas
Sustainable energy supply solutions for existing quarters and industry had been surveyed holistically and cross-sectorally in a small-structured area, consequently pilot projects had been elaborated with the aim to build up a climate-neutral region.
INReS - Integration of sustainable stormwater management tools into planning execution and management software (BIM)
Exploration to prepare and evaluate the applicability of an interactive web application to recommend appropriate stormwater management measures for existing and new buildings that allows for (1) BIM compatibility for object-based implementation and (2) simplified application in the form of the stormwater toolbox.
INSIDE - Integrated Safety Critical DGNSS Service
The aim of INSIDE is the development of a first demonstrator of a GNSS based information system to support drivers of snow groomers. The snow groomers will be equipped with a GNSS receiver and an automotive computer as central processing device. The touch screen displays the actual position and the infrastructure and dangerous areas on a digital map as background. Furthermore, tracks of already prepared slopes will be highlighted to avoid multiple preparation work.
INTERPRETER
According to the Austrian constitution, one of the main tasks of the Austrian Armed Forces, apart from their defense role, lies in the assistance of civil first responder forces in the wake of crises and disasters. During such episodes, the Austrian Armed Forces address the situation at hand together with the civil forces at all levels of the Austrian federal governance structure, prominently including the cooperation with the national warning centers at the federal state level.
INTERSENSE
From land cover to land use – integrating remote sensing and human location patterns in urban areas
INTOKI- Methods and tools for consumers' and stakeholder involvement in the development of sustainable products and services
Supporting SME bakeries in the involvement process of their stakeholders in sustainability oriented product service innovation processes. Development and pilot testing of a dialogue oriented toolkit ("The INNOVATIVE Bakery Dialogue" Handbook).
