SYRI - Systemic risk management and resilience planning for Austrian food supply security

The aim of SYRI is the first real-time systemic risk assessment in food value networks that are critical for the population. These networks consist of thousands of actors and are digitally mapped from the origin of the food, via the processors and logistics, to the end consumers in the retail sector and the catering and hotel industry, and are assessed in real time with regard to systemic supply risks.

SYRI-Alert - Early warning system for supply chain disruptions to enhance the resilience of Austria's food supply

In the SYRI-Alert project, a data-driven early warning system is being developed to enhance the resilience of Austria's food supply. By detecting and forecasting supply chain disruptions at an early stage, the system enables authorities to take preventive measures and minimize supply shortages.

SYSPEQ - Systemische Lösung zum Betrieb von Plusenergiequartieren

Full-scale planning concepts for positive energy districts (PEDs) and their operation as energy communities (ECs). The focus is on the implementation in the existing building stock, especially in the area of social/non-profit housing. Financing options for renewable generation units, planning and operation of a PED (especially as an EC), marketing opportunities for surplus electricity and the development of an information and networking platform are part of this project. A special highlight is the practical proof-of-concept in Fuchsenloch, which is a social housing quarter of Sozialbau.
