KoPro Lzk+ - Cost and process optimization in the life cycle of nearly zero energy buildings

The aim of the project was to develop a continuous process chain for the energetic-economic optimization of zero and plus energy buildings. The project focused on proven and new approaches to cost reduction of nearly zero energy buildings (nZEBs) at all stages of the life cycle. The main goal was to identify the extra-costs for nZEBs, and to promote innovative approaches taking into account the cost-effectiveness for all the Stakeholders. A database containing important cost parameters and potential savings will be developed.

LEKOECOS - combined economic-ecological life cycle assessment model

The consumption of ecological and economic resources over the whole life cycle is supposed to be anticipated and optimised in the design process of buildings and refurbishments. A combined life cycle assessment model together with an economic-ecological base element catalogue considering the klima:aktiv criteria was developed based on the structure of the life cycle cost model LEKOS and the ecological valuation tool Ecosoft.

LEO-SLR - Improved kHz-SLR Tracking Techniques and Orbit Quality Analysis for LEO-Missions

Earth observation missions in general and gravity field sensors in particular are naturally designed as low Earth orbiting spacecraft (LEO) with orbit heights of about 200-500 km. In order to fulfil the challenging mission objectives, the precise knowledge of the satellite orbit in space becomes a crucial concern. For these missions precise orbit information is normally provided by GPS / SST observations supported by satellite laser ranging (SLR).

LINE-FEED - Plug-in Photovoltaic Storage for the Wall Socket

The project LINE-FEED developed technologies that are required for a photovoltaic storage system which can be installed by anybody by simply plugging it into a wall socket. The aim was to create a storage system for households in urban areas that do not have the possibility to install a photovoltaic system themselves.
