Documentary Film "Factory of Tomorrow"
The documentary film for ORF/ 3sat and Bayern alpha-TV draws the picture of a sustainable industrial world in the future. Fascinating pioneer projects of the Austrian Program on Technologies for Sustainable Development, Program "Factory of Tomorrow", will be presented.
Documentation, comparison and processing of demonstration results on the topic of "Digital Building Twin"
The aim of the project was to compare results from two demonstration projects of a digital building twin and to document initial operational experiences.
Dominate complex ict solutions
ICT systems can be found not only in everyday life in mobile phones, entertainment equipment or in the office, they increasingly control our infrastructure, support the drivers of motor vehicles, monitor energy networks and control aircraft. The increasing complexity of these systems creates technical and fundamental problems for ICT that have direct economic and social impacts.
E-FLEX - ENGINE FLEXIBLES
E.Vent – Efficient, cost-effective and low-maintenance central ventilation systems for multi-family housing – Design, operation and fire protection measures
Die Synopsis ist eine drei- bis vierzeilige Beschreibung des Projektinhalts alsErgänzung zum Titel und nähere Erläuterung des Projekts.
EASE - Enhancing Agriculture by Satellite Navigation Systems
The project comprises two demonstrations: determination and registration of funded agricultural areas and precise farming applied to the disposition and the management of growing areas.
EASEY Online Rating Preparation Transfer
Transfer of conceptual knowledge about rating of sustainability performance of SMEs to three different groups of consultants dealing with financial data. Sustainability in business, that is the thesis, contributes significantly to an increasing repay capability.
ECC – EnergyCityConcepts – Development of a methodology and concept for the implementation of sustainable energy systems in cities by the example of Gleisdorf and Salzburg
In the context of this project two concrete model regions (small city Gleisdorf and urban city quarter Salzburg-Schallmoos) will be developed and tested with new methodical approaches (interdisciplinary urban and regional energy planning, modeling and simulation). An ambitious political commitment of both model regions is a 100% renewable or rather CO2-neutral energy supply.
ECCS - Embedded Command and Control System
The subject of this project was to design an embedded command and control subsystem (ECCS) as part of a satellite onboard electronics module based on the MIL-STD-1553B interface standard. In the present context "embedded" means that the subsystem is not implemented as a separate system formed by dedicated hard- and software, but that it is fully integrated into the extended hard- and software of an existing state-of-the-art spaceborne payload processor module.
ECODESIGN-Toolbox for Green Product Concepts - Method development for sustainable product design
The objective of the project is the method development for sustainable product design in close cooperation with industrial partners. The ECODESIGN Toolbox for Green Product Concepts - a six step approach has been developed here.
ECR Energy City Graz - subproject 2: Framework-Plan Energy City Graz-Reininghaus
Main project-issue is the scientific work and the demonstration of the vision of the energy self-sufficient, CO2-neutral city-district Graz-Reininghaus. The Framework-Plan Energy City Graz-Reininghaus shall stimulate an awareness-raising process towards energy-efficient and sustainable city-development.
ECR Energy City Graz - subproject 3: +ERS - Plus Energy Network Reininghaus Süd
The multifunctional neighbourhood "+ERS - Plus Energy Network Reininghaus Süd" was realized within the urban planning area of Graz-Reininghaus. The project aims to optimize the energy concept of the single buildings as well as of the building cluster in order to achieve a plus-energy standard within the residential neighbourhood.
EDEN - Developement of a structured data and preparation documentation with a minimized error-proneness for energy performance cerificates.
Current energy performance certificates hold major flaws. Therefore, the presented research initiative aimed at the development of a standardized and easy-to-use, generic Input-Data-Documentation, which ensures the quality of energy certificates for all involved stakeholders. During the development, the documentation had been conducted and for a chosen sample of representative buildings, which is expected to demonstrate the high potential of such a development.
EM Städte - Monitoring and evaluation of urban energy flows
In the first phase of the project, the data source of the energy statistics will be analyzed. Based on the findings of the analysis a methodology on build up regional energy balances will be developed. The methodology will be integrated into the Senflusk tool and tested on five reference cities in Austria.
EMA - Engineering Marangoni Flows by Heat-Transfer Management
A paradigm for Marangoni flows is the liquid bridge problem in which a liquid droplet is confined between two solid cylindrical rods that are kept at different temperatures. In the EMA project scientists aim at controlling the Marangoni flow in the liquid phase by eliminating the effect of buoyant convection which eclipses the Marangoni flow on the ground.
EMA Mikro-Makro-Link
Focus of the project was the harmonisation of disclosure reqirements to statistical agencies regarding material and energy consumption, environmental investments and expenditure with the IFAC guidance document on environmental management accounting and the GRI guideline regarding sustainability performance indicators.
EMAG - Feasibility study for an experimental platform for multi-modal applications of Galileo
The project EMAG includes technical and economical basic research and analysis regarding the feasibility to develop an experimental platform based on a software receiver for multi-modal applications of Galileo. Therefore, it is the objective to develop a detailed concept for a later realization.
EMMFOR - Application of modern methods for forest inventories
The project aimed at demonstrating advantages and the easy handling of the DGPS method combined with conventional ground based surveying techniques. Once successfully measured, geographical coordinates of sample plots or certain ground marks can be reused.
