Within the scope of the human potential theme, the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) actively contributes to a research-friendly climate and an improved exploitation of the human potential in the application-oriented area of science and technology for Austria as a location for innovation.
The skills of people are decisive for the development potential of a community and for the stability of democratic institutions. However, these skills also set the foundation for the company's ability to develop and implement innovations, and consequently lies behind the competitiveness of the economy.
The abilities of people determine the quality of research that creates new knowledge and that is the precondition for understanding, adapting and using new knowledge and new technologies developed somewhere else.
